Church services at Potter House of Dallas were abruptly suspended on Sunday. When Bishop TD Jakes suffered a health accident while preaching.
Jakes, famous pastor and motivational speaker Talk about joy in the sermon shortly before the event takes place. Video of the medical emergency spread across social media shortly after the incident.
“I still love to preach. I never get tired of preaching,” Jakes, 67, told the audience. “I miss you.”
“Have you ever been to a hospital to visit someone? And you think it will encourage them. And are they encouraging you?” That’s what preaching is like,” he continued. “You think you’re giving something. You will get back more than you give.”

The pastor then quoted Psalm 19:14 before falling silent.
“Let the words of my mouth and prayer in my heart acceptable in His sight Lord my power My Redeemer May they rest in peace,” he said.
Jake stopped talking and twitched as he sat in his chair and stared into the distance. Attendees rushed onto the stage to help him. And the speaker asked the audience to pray for him while he cared.

“During the service today, Bishop TD Jakes suffered a minor health incident. and received immediate medical attention after his powerful hour-long message,” the statement said.
The update also added that Jakes is currently “stable and under the care of medical professionals.”
“The entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support of the community,” the statement added. “Thank you for your understanding and continue to pray.”
