Andi Dorfman is talking about new moms.

She added, “Lesson learned: No matter how knowledgeable you are about motherhood. You still know your body best. Listen up! Yes, recovery is hard and everyone is different. But your instincts are correct. (and may be correct)”
A few hours later She shared an update. It said that many of her followers had privately messaged her. What she said made her realize that “I’m not alone in feeling confused and isolated at the general lack of postpartum care.”

She went on to explain what happened, writing, “However. after returning home I feel a lot of pain And the condition is getting worse each day, even though the internet says recovery takes time. But I still felt like something was wrong. And finally after trying All common household medicines I called the doctor and he told me to come in.”
Dorfman said she had two blood clots, a larger one and a smaller one that were causing the pain.
“Within a few hours We arrived at the hospital and prepared for surgery. It’s a very straightforward process. But it’s still pretty scary having a 6-day-old baby (plus a lot of hormones still lurking).”

And don’t be afraid to reach out to them,” she concluded. “I feel guilty for worrying about myself instead of my daughter. But I know you’re not good if I’m not good. Hopefully this helps anyone wondering about their postpartum recovery.”
