In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, the 53-year-old fitness personality shared how people can make small changes in 2025 to live a healthier lifestyle. It describes biohacking as “An important part of my life now.”

According to Healthline, “Biohacking can be described as a citizen or do-it-yourself biology” that “consists of making gradual diet or lifestyle changes” to change your life. The website explains the guidelines as follows: “It promises everything from rapid weight loss to improved brain function.”

For Burke, her biohacking routine includes: “Red light therapy sauna, if you can, I love red light therapy masks that are so cool they make you feel like a superhero. I do that on my skin to promote collagen. And it’s really soothing. It’s amazing for fine lines and wrinkles,” she says. “I hydrate myself during the holidays. more water than alcohol Wash off all the sodium.”

The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant shared more “Hollywood tips and tricks” to feel and look healthier. This includes using vitamin C serum, eye masks, and jade rollers. Ready to joke that “Nobody needs to know” how tired you are.”

Talking about the “silly little things” she does, she encourages women to put conditioner on their hair before going to a hot sauna. Or make sure you stay hydrated during colder days. She also emphasizes that many things can be done. A lot can be done with DIY remedies.

“(If) you’re stressed, go buy $5 worth of Epsom salt. It’s like I’m finding ways to biohack the life in my environment. And find real homemade home remedies. Air purifier, big, amazing. Make sure you are drinking clean mineral water if you don’t have that good of a filtration system. Antioxidants and smoothies. I mean, I’m a geek too.”

Burke also shared some tips for those at home when it comes to indulging during the holidays. Explaining that she would intermittently fast, which “made me more decadent during the holidays,” without “feeling the life I was sacrificing.”

She emphasizes the importance of having a community of people around you that not only support your healthy choices. But it also keeps you accountable to your own goals. This is especially important when it comes to New Year’s resolutions, says Burke.

“I just did some research and found out that January 10th is called Quit Smoking Day because 80% of our country has failed on 80% of their New Year’s resolutions, so you need community. You have to take responsibility for yourself,” she explains. “Write it out. Write it on your glass with a Sharpie if you want. focus on something Whether it’s a digital app, a free program on YouTube…find something and hold yourself accountable. So definitely personal contracts, but you have to be able to keep them.”

One trick Burke recommends is to make a financial commitment to something. “To not feel good about failing because you’re losing money.”

She admits, though, that many people don’t know where to start when it comes to achieving their fitness goals.
