Police in Phoenix say they took two people into custody after three people were shot and one person was later stabbed. “Escalated family dispute” at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Christmas Day

“Preliminary information indicates that a group of known individuals were involved in a physical altercation. It escalated until one of the suspects took a handgun from them,” a police media adviser said.
After the said event Three people had gunshot wounds, with one woman said to have injuries. “Life threatening” and two men are in stable condition with no life threatening injuries.

Two people involved were found and detained in the garage, police said, describing them as Police said the man suffered stab wounds and was taken to a hospital. It was stated that he was in stable condition.

The airport shelter was raised at about 10:30 p.m. FOX 10 reports locally. Operations of the Phoenix Skytrain Terminal and Skytrain are temporarily suspended as a precaution. A statement from the airport received by the television station said:
Thursday morning, a FOX 10 reporter said entrances to Gates B and C in Terminal 4 remained blocked.
