CJ Stroud responds to fans’ booing during Texans’ moral loss: ‘People are entitled to their opinion’

Quarterback CJ Stroud acknowledged the Texans’ poor play in his postgame remarks. and take full responsibility for the explosion of losses.

“Terrible on my behalf. Probably one of the worst games of my career,” Stroud said. “Just came out flat and didn’t have the energy and didn’t lead the offense like I should have.”

When asked specifically about the crowd’s reaction Stroud seemed to understand.

“People have a right to their opinions,” he said. “They care about the game. Their emotions matter, I understand. This isn’t the first time and probably won’t be the last. It’s not something to bury and point fingers at yourself. But it’s something you can use. It’s to motivate you.
