“He was very heavy,” Ted Pryor, author and Presley’s former bodyguard, told Fox News Digital.

“Elvis was at the point where he was so heavy that he didn’t like being touched. Because he sweats a lot and is always hot,” he said.

Looking back fondly on his time with Presley Pryor said the singer treated his bodyguards “very well” and that although he was generally “sour” he was “nice” to them.

“He lost his mother, he lost his wife, and he resented women,” Pryor said.
