House members voted Friday to approve a renegotiated spending bill. This includes many of the same elements as the previous law. But there was no debt limit provision, causing consternation among many in the party.
Republican leaders shared a message on Friday. It wasn’t long before lawmakers approved the spending bill, 366-34.
Lawmakers are scrambling to find a way forward. after the initial draft bill was blocked by President Trump and his allies on Wednesday. And a subsequent bill approved by Trump failed in the House on Thursday.

This version of the bill is different from the version rejected Thursday night. It will cancel the debt expansion requested by President Donald Trump, which included a two-year freeze on the debt limit.
That version failed to gain support from Democrats. which opposes this idea more broadly. and from fiscal conservatives in the Republican Party.
The new law includes provisions such as $10 billion in aid to farmers. and agricultural subsidies included in previous versions of the bill. This is a provision that must be passed by several members of the legislature.
It also includes $100 billion in disaster aid for U.S. residents. Including victims of hurricanes that caused damage in some US states.
“We will not shut down the government. And we will deliver on our commitments to farmers in need. For disaster victims across the country and to ensure that military and essential services and all those who rely on the federal government for There will be holiday pay,” House Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters before Friday’s vote.
