Maddow was one of several media semaphore asked to reflect on what was wrong with the 2024 election or overall culture. Responses ranged from failing to predict Elon Musk’s influence. to the continued relevance of the X and the power of inflation on the American vote. Others, such as The Bulwark Podcast host Tim Miller, admit he is guilty of “generosity” in his judgment of President Biden.
