The FBI identified Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old U.S. citizen from Texas. Shamsuddin Jabbar was married and divorced twice. He has two daughters, ages 15 and 20, with his first wife Nakedra Charrlle Marsh, according to the Times.

Her new husband, Dwayne Marsh, said Shamsud-Din Jabbar had acted erratically in recent months. He “went crazy and cut his hair” after converting to Islam. And they stopped letting him live with their daughter.
