“We know we definitely have a blast. And it’s certainly an explosion that has factors of concern,” FBI Special Agent in Charge Spencer Evans said during a news conference on Thursday. “It’s not lost on us that it’s in front of the Trump Building and it’s a Tesla car, but right now we don’t have information that tells us for sure… Is it because of this particular ideology or any reason? Behind it.”

“Matt is a very skilled warrior. And he would be able to create it if it were him, and if he did this. He could probably create a more complex explosive than using propane tanks and camping fuel,” he said. “He is what you might call a ‘super soldier.’ If you’ve ever read about that… He gained and the experience he had. Some of it doesn’t make sense at all. When he has the skills and ability to do something more, let’s say ‘effective’, his skills are enormous from what he was taught in the army.”

Livelsberger was a Green Beret operations sergeant who spent most of his time at Fort Carson, Colorado, and in Germany. McMahill said Livelsberger received approval to resign from Germany. where he is stationed with a special forces group He also previously served in the National Guard and Army Reserve.
He also received numerous awards and honors while serving in the United States Army.
