New Orleans Saints star quarterback Cam Jordan has donated to the victims’ fund for those affected by the Bourbon Street attack in the early hours of New Year’s Day.
Jordan wrote on social media that he donated $25,000 to the New Year’s Day tragedy fund.

“I am joining @GNOFoundation and @CityOfNOLA by donating $25,000 to the New Year’s Day Tragedy Fund to help victims of the attacks,” Jordan wrote on Seriously injured.”
The Greater New Orleans Foundation established a fund following the terrorist attacks that occurred in the city.
“The Greater New Orleans Foundation is partnering with the city of New Orleans and community partners to launch the New Orleans New Year’s Tragedy Fund. “To support victims and survivors of a mass casualty event on New Years Day 2025,” the fund description states.

At least 15 people were killed and several others injured in the attack.

The attack resulted in the postponement of the Sugar Bowl, which will now take place at Caesars Superdome at 4:00 PM ET.
