Despite his repeated feelings of terror, “Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost is accustomed to telling merciless jokes about the expense of his wife, Scarlett. Johansson in his annual comedy exchange in which he and “Weekend Update” co-anchor Michael Che recited the jokes they performed. They wrote to each other during the news portion of the program – presumably they hadn’t met in advance.
What Jost may not have been prepared for this year was Johansson’s appearance backstage, as she was forced to watch her husband jab in real time. The camera will cut between the two of them. The actress appeared on “SNL” to welcome host Martin. Short entered the prestigious Five-Timers club. which she joined in 2017. Before addressing the joke about his wife, Jost read a racist joke written for him by Che, as happened in past years.
“Time’s up before we do this. I knew Michael was going to have me tell racist jokes like he always does.” just started– “This time, if you don’t mind. I want to be able to read all the jokes in ‘Black Voice’ so I don’t get in trouble.”
Scarlett Johansson joked, Preschool required husband Colin to appear in all her movies.
“I apologize in advance,” he told the audience before joking about Vice President Kamala Harris and slave reparations. “Did you know that my girl Kamala Harris held a town hall talking about (how) she still supports the idea of reparations for slavery? Well, girl, me too. Because white people deserve our money back for those slaves who ran away,” he said, clearly shocked at the words. “Shit, I’m not afraid of the Mophos,” Jost read painfully. and laughing
The next joke focuses on Jost’s wife, but he continues to speak in a “black voice” throughout the segment.
“I want to dedicate this next comedy to my girlfriend, Scarlett Johansson,” Jost said. The camera then cut to Johansson backstage watching the tape. Clutching her drink, Johansson winced as she prepared for the inevitable.

“no! Oh my god, she’s really worried,” Jost said, before joking, “Hey, boo, did you know Scarlett just celebrated her 40th birthday, which means I’m getting out of there.”
“Why?” Johansson is heard saying as the camera cuts back to her. “Shit,” Jost continues in hysterics. “No, I was just kidding.” We just had a child together. And you haven’t seen any pictures of him because he’s black as hell,” he said, referring to the couple’s son, Cosmo. “Shiz, I’m not afraid of you, mofos,” he repeated.
“Oh s—,” Johansson said, the camera panning back to her. Then took a sip of her drink.

Last year, Jost was forced to joke about his wife’s acting abilities. “New York State now allows movie theaters to sell alcohol,” Jost said. “I can finally enjoy my wife’s little arthouse movie,” he said, in the form of Johansson in a Marvel movie.”Black Widow” appears on the screen. “Just kidding, darling.” I love all your movies. And if you ask me, you’re a better ‘Black Widow’ than Coretta Scott King,” he said, laughing.
Five months ago, Johansson was admitted toKelly Clarkson’s performance” Watching this part was difficult. “It was so bad, I blacked out the rest of the night,” she joked. “I really don’t remember.”

The pair have been married since 2020 after reuniting on a 2017 episode of the comedy show.
