The 2025 Sugar Bowl between Notre Dame and Georgia will be played less than 24 hours later than its original start time after Wednesday’s attack in New Orleans resulted in the game being postponed.
The Allstate Sugar Bowl officially announced Wednesday afternoon that games will begin at 3:00 PM local time (4:00 PM ET) on Thursday. The game was scheduled to kick off at 8:45 PM ET on Wednesday night, and early reports indicated the game would be postponed 24 hours.

Jeff Hundley, CEO of Allstate Sugar Bowl, issued a statement sending thoughts and prayers to all victims of the attack. Along with thanking those who accepted the time to start over.
