Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was taken off the field by ambulance during Saturday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs after suffering a gruesome leg injury while scoring a touchdown late in the half. behind

The heartbreaking scene came a little more than three minutes into the second half when quarterback CJ Stroud connected with Dell in the end zone for a 30-yard touchdown reception.

Almost immediately after catching The second-year receiver is still clearly hurting. He appears to have suffered a serious knee injury.

Texans players gathered around Dell and prayed for him, while Stroud was visibly shaken by Dell’s injury.

He was eventually taken off the field by what appeared to be an ambulance.
