Trump confronts Republican Party’s fissures – Transatlantic

In just over a month, Donald Trump will be sworn in as president again. He and his allies in Congress want to be hands-on. But Republican lawmakers are quickly facing divisions and questions about how to begin. With a majority in the House And with the Senate falling short of the 60 votes needed to cast a will vote, GOP leaders are divided over how and when to turn Trump’s legislative agenda into law.
