Trump to deliver first rally-style speech since decisive election win: ‘Biggest conservative movement’

Trump is set to take the stage in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday. to deliver his first rally-style speech since his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris last month.

“We are honored that President Trump will deliver his first rally-style speech since the election at AmFest 2024 in Phoenix,” said Charlie Kirk, Turning Point’s Head of US Operations and Turning Point. In the press release “This is the largest multi-day event in the movement. And this year will be the biggest event we have organized to date.”

Trump is expected to take the stage at the Phoenix Convention Center at 10:30 a.m. local time on Sunday. It’s part of Turning Point’s annual four-day AmericaFest event, which is part of “The largest conservative movement in the country.”

Trump’s speech at the event came just a day after Congress avoided a prolonged government shutdown.

The Senate passed the temporary spending bill Saturday morning. After midnight the deadline passed and the government temporarily shut down. and sent the legislation to President Biden for his signature.

The final bill sent to Biden included economic relief for farmers. and disaster assistance for those affected by the recent storms, but does not include suspending the debt ceiling as Trump has requested.

Trump has not spoken publicly since the passage of the bill. This is despite sources telling Fox News that the incoming president is unhappy with the bill.

Ahead of Trump’s speech on Sunday Conservative lawmakers and allies Texas Senator Ted Cruz, incoming Trump administration boss Tom Homan, comedian Rob Schenider and Kirk will also take the stage.
