“I think it’s important to note here when you’re asking these questions — important questions to ask — that there’s a poll. U.S. government opinion poll (sic) that came out like that. Some of you reported all this,” she said.
“And it says 64% of Americans approve of pardons — 64% of Americans. So we can understand what Americans think on this matter. Of course, this is just one poll. But it gives you a little insight. Sixty-four percent have nothing to sneeze at,” she emphasizes.
She said again later: “I urge the US government (sic) to poll where 64% of Americans which is not a small number I agree with the president’s decision to pardon his son.”

Social media users were quick to point out the mistake.
“She is wrong,” Check Your Fact features editor Elias Atienza wrote. “YouGov poll shows 64% of Democrats, not 64% of Americans. Support a pardon: 34% of Americans overall support it, with 50% opposed.”
Bonchie, a RedState home page contributor, said: “This is psychotic level lying. The kind that people used to be shamed by in a more polite society. She will definitely be on MSNBC within the next year.”

Greg Price, Trump’s deputy director of rapid response for 2024, corrected the White House press secretary that “We voted YouGov and showed that 64% of Democrats approve of pardons. while only 34% did so overall. It is the worst it has ever been.”
Social media strategist Chuck Callesto agrees. “She is without a doubt the worst. Prove me wrong.”
