Four dolphins were found dead on a Mississippi beach over the weekend, according to a Facebook post by the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies (IMMS).
These dolphins, which have been identified as pantropical dolphins, Died after stranding on the sand on Petit Bois Island.
The bird is rarely seen in Mississippi waters and tends to live in deeper waters, so IMMS found it surprising to find four gathered together on a barrier island.
