Sprite Shrines are a new mechanic this season. And they will add a lot of fun to the game.
Sprite Shrine is a new expansion for Fortnite in Chapter 6 that gives you a fun way to earn buffs and improve your character’s performance. Here’s how to use the Sprite Shrine to reveal a Sprite, and what to do with the Sprite Shrine later.
How to Use the Sprite Shrine to Reveal Nearby Sprites – Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1
The first thing you need to do is find a Sprite Shrine. These are large stone statues that will have white beams of light coming out of the top. You’ll find two of these near the Warrior’s Watch and Foxy Floodgate if you land directly from the battle bus. You’ll be able to see them very easily once you glide into them. However, you can find them all over the map.
Run up to the shrine and interact with it. This causes it to release a pulse of energy. Pay close attention to your screen. And you will see little yellow/gold waypoints. that shows the position of the sprite
Go grab the sprite, then take it back to the shrine and interact with the shrine again. This will give the shrine a boost. Then drop the loot. Power-up cards and sprites, which you can pick up and add to your inventory again.
Sprites also have the following benefits:
- Air Sprite Can be thrown to create a vortex of wind that can send you flying in a repurposed glider. Vortexes can also damage buildings and launch vehicles.
- water sprite Can be thrown to create a healing fountain that restores health and shields to nearby players.
- Earth Sprite It will consume the items you feed it in exchange for rewards.
