This includes forcing our Israeli allies to cede maritime territory to Hezbollah,” Cruz noted. “They are now using the transition to the Trump administration and a Republican Congress to try to lock in those efforts. and to limit the incoming administration. He then accused Obama-Biden officials of pressuring Israeli allies to accept a ceasefire by withholding weapons needed to defend themselves against Hezbollah. At the same time, it threatened to facilitate a binding international arms embargo through the United Nations.
