Replay Takeover is a feature in replay mode that lets you control one character for 20 seconds.

The main motivation for this mode is to revisit your matches. and try to find more effective techniques during difficult times. Instead of just wondering what’s the best response when your opponent keeps you stuck in a corner, you can use Replay Takeover to revisit the moment and see what other options you have. You can take over from any point in the match and restart there as many times as necessary until you are satisfied. It’s a great learning tool that’s much more effective than trying to recreate these situations in training mode.
