NBA legend slams Lakers for how they handled Bronny James: ‘It looked terrible’

Bronny James’ entry into the NBA came with a lot of fanfare as he and his legendary father LeBron James teamed up for two games against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The young Lakers rookie was sent to the G League to play for the South Bay Lakers, hoping to improve his skills to become a better NBA player, however, he did not stay in the G League. and got to play with the team periodically sometimes when they are at home

Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley criticized the Lakers for their “terrible” handling of James thus far.

“And besides, in this matter he will only play home games,” he continued. “Gamler’s Corner” “It’s stupid, it’s not fair to him. It’s not fair to the team. Can you imagine the coach of that team? You go on a road trip and you have a player you haven’t seen in a week or two. And after that You might feel like you have to play him.

“I don’t think they’re doing Bronny any favors, they’ve just handled this very poorly. It’s a bad look for the Lakers. I really like everything LeBron does, but it’s also a bad look for him (too) in my opinion.”
