An investigation is underway after two planes operated by American Airlines and Frontier Airlines had wings broken on the tarmac at Boston’s Logan International Airport on Monday.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the incident occurred around noon. An American Airlines Boeing 777 was towed. when it hit the wingtip of a Frontier Airlines Airbus A321 which was parked at the gate.
“While entering the gate at Boston (BOS), American Airlines Flight 109, operating from LHR to BOS, made contact with a nearby parked aircraft,” an American Airlines spokesperson said. stated in a statement to Fox News.
The airline said there were no reports of injuries. And the customer got off the plane soon after.
