The Times reporter sparked criticism that afternoon by sharing a post Stephanie Cutter, deputy primary campaign manager Quentin Fulks, and campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon — gave an autopsy on Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign.
The podcast’s the voters they need most to win over. Why did they fail in the end? And what Democrats should do differently next time.”
Astead reshared the post and provided his own caption, writing: “A great advertisement for the importance of independent media.”
This reporter took issue with the fact that Harris, though, has had a lot of favorable coverage among the older media. Compared to President Trump But she still lost to him.
One widely cited reason for Trump’s victory is that the GOP candidate sat down for several key non-traditional media interviews. Favreau was indignant at Astead’s dig and responded with The New York Times, ridiculing it for publishing multiple reports in recent years about President Biden’s age as a key concern for voters.
