New York – Court Bauer, founder of Major League Wrestling (MLW), told Fox News Digital earlier this year that he believed the company was entering the “The Great Year”
It’s barely bigger than Eric Bischoff.

He wowed the audience at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York, almost immediately.
Matt Riddle and “Filthy” Tom Lawlor came out to welcome Bischoff to MLW and teased the bear. Bischoff booked Riddle to compete against Donovan Dyjak in a match, putting Riddle’s position in jeopardy. If Riddle loses, Dijak will receive the MLW World Heavyweight Championship at the company’s first premium live event in 2025, “Kings of Colosseum” against Satoshi Kojima.
Bischoff was far from complete, and he sent Paul Walter Hauser into a tag team match with Matthew Justice against Rogue Horsemen members Brock and CW Anderson. The match also turned into a street fight in New York City.
The most shocking thing of the night happened when Alex Kane had a few words for Bischoff. Kane fired the pot a few times in Bischoff’s career and how he left WCW.
ERIC BISCHOFF hopes professional wrestling companies will focus more on this aspect of the sport.
Bischoff was unforgettable, Kane defeated Bobby Fish in a UWFI Rules match as he celebrated his victory. Bischoff then appeared on screen and said that it really wasn’t coming back. If he doesn’t have a chance to fire anyone.
Kane is in Bischoff’s crosshairs. He takes out Kane.
The security guard tries to get “The Suplex Assassin” but ends up encountering suplex after suplex of Mr. Kane’s partner. Thomas calmed him down and took him out.
It was the biggest moment of the night — right up to the end.
Bischoff is seen looking at a number of skyscrapers while talking to someone on the phone, his MLW contract in hand.

Bischoff previously told Fox News Digital that he really considered returning. It was only when Bauer, the cast, and fans enjoyed it that fans made Queens wonder if he would definitely become a mainstay in the company.
