‘Rust’ director Alec Baldwin admits why people aren’t watching the movie After the director of photography died on the set

Hutchins’ family boycotted the premiere of “Rust” on Wednesday because of Baldwin’s unwillingness to apologize for a deadly on-set shooting. The premiere was dedicated to Hutchins, with organizers keeping a moment of silence in her memory.

Hutchins’ mother, Olga Solovey, said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital, “I look forward to meeting my daughter in Poland to see her work come to life on the big screen.” “Unfortunately, that is missing. From me when Alex Baldwin discharged his gun and murdered my daughter.”

She added: “Alec Baldwin continues to add to my pain with his refusal to apologize to me and his refusal to take responsibility for her death. Souza recommends the film. and explained why he completed the project after initially wanting to abandon the film following Hutchins’ death. “It was too painful,” he said, before admitting that Matthew Hutchins’ husband encouraged him to see the production come to fruition.

Baldwin still faces a civil lawsuit filed against him by Hutchins’ family. The actor’s legal team filed a request for a temporary restraining order on November 1, Aug. 19, one day before the premiere of “Rust” in Poland.

Attorney Gloria Allred filed charges of battery. loss of joint venture causing emotional distress and others on behalf of Hutchins’ mother, sister and father in February 2023. The lawsuit claims Hutchins is financially responsible for her family. And there are plans to take them along. She will live in America.

The lawsuit names Baldwin, the producer of “Rust,” and other defendants. That lawyers argue is responsible for Hutchins’ death.
