Before Tom Brady played his first Thanksgiving Day game in the broadcast booth. He decided to spend the time before Thanksgiving pursuing another sport.
Brady was spotted mingling at the American Airlines Center for the primetime matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks on Wednesday night. Brady was seen shaking hands with Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd and others.
It was all Dallas on the field as well. As Brady watched the Mavs beat the Knicks 129-114 to move to 11-8 on the season, New York fell to 10-8.

Brady will join Kevin Burkhardt for the Dallas Cowboys-New York Giants NFC East matchup on Fox at 4:30 p.m. Thursday night.
Brady said earlier on Wednesday that he was “fired” to call the game. Even though they are two of the worst teams in the NFL division.
