Virginia pilot dedicated to helping animals Died in a plane crash on Sunday.
Suk Kim, 49, was piloting a Mooney M20J and transporting three dogs when his plane, flying from Maryland to Albany, crashed about 35 miles south of Kim’s destination. According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office,
Kim was found dead at the scene along with a dog. A second dog was found at the scene with two broken legs and while investigators were working, A third dog was found with minor injuries. Both dogs were transported by Higher Ground Rescue along with PAW (Partners for Animal Welfare) to receive veterinary care.
