2017 was the last time I got to spend meaningful time with Aloy and the terrifying fleet of robodinos and beasts that inhabit her post-apocalyptic world.
Oh man, I forgot how fun this game’s main battle system is. It’s been so long since I played the first that I don’t remember any concrete differences between them. Dawn Center and Forbidden Western during the turbulent time But it’s a challenge to shoot a bow and arrow in the right balance. (My favorite shooting) Resource management, trapping, and elemental status effects. It gave me an adrenaline rush of female superhero fantasies. Seriously, this would be my GOTY if it came out this year. (I mean it’s done on PC anyway)
Even though the story is in my head, just like Dawn CenterI feel like this scene and these characters could use another body or two? Having said that, I’m starting to like Aloy as the heroine. The theme of the plot is environmental destruction. human greed And artificial intelligence provides some interesting food for thought…especially considering where IRL Earth is headed (lol). Nothing has completely won me over. But it’s still okay to think!
today I crave a harder challenge. In the game, so I played it on Very Hard and found the combat to be rewarding enough that I’ll be playing Ultra Hard again once I finish. Plus, there’s some nice movement. So it’s good for testing and showcasing the impact of upgrades I make on my PC in the future.
