Pull out your magnifying glass if you have any hope of reading the original miniature Biblical Christmas story on display in the UK.
SWNS news agency reports that a small copy of the King James Bible is on public display at Leeds Central Library in Leeds, England.
The Bible, which dates back to about 1911, measures 1.9 x 1.3 inches, so small it fits comfortably in the palm of your hand.

Miniature Bibles have made headlines during the COVID lockdown. when it was first discovered, and is “thought to be one of the smallest examples of its kind anywhere in the world,” according to SWNS.

“Christmas has been an important part of many memorable stories for generations. And it is very special to bring these objects together and bring precious memories for visitors,” senior librarian Rhian Isaac told SWNS.
“We hope seeing them in person will give visitors a glimpse into Christmas celebrations of the past. And it helps them feel joyful as well.”

This free exhibit showcases 19th-century versions of Charles Dickens’ stories, including the holiday classic “A Christmas Carol.”

The library also displays a children’s Christmas game book called “Mince Pies for Christmas,” which dates back to 1812.
The book is filled with many types of holiday puzzles and games that claim to “To use the ingenuity of the masters and sensible thinkers,” SWNS added.

The book also has markings from the children. who once owned this book and played the game at Christmas over 200 years ago

Other items on display alongside the classic Christmas books include a collection of illustrated Christmas cards. and a 1920s Christmas edition of a local newspaper.
