Many holidays take on the theme of love. When you hear the word love Your heart must be on Valentine’s Day. That is a normal and understandable relationship. But I think it’s built on a misunderstanding of the true meaning of Christmas.
Charlie Brown was right: In many ways, Christmas has “disappeared commercially” wherever we go. We were flooded with messages about what to buy. Where will I go shopping? And how to spend money during the holidays? Sadly, it seems like Christmas has become the only reason to shop.
Although giving gifts has great value, But such a superficial and commercial focus misses the central message of Christmas. The message that started the gift-giving tradition in the first place

It’s time for us to reclaim the real reason for our Christmas celebrations. It’s time we remember that Christmas is first and foremost about love.
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. that whoever believes in him shall not perish. but have eternal life.” This is the most quoted and most well-known verse in the Bible. But many of us fail to realize the incredible impact these words have on the Christmas season.
That’s why I want to draw your attention to a small, often overlooked word in this most famous verse: “That.” This word says a lot about God and the nature of love. God loves the world. I love each of us very much. at. This love acts powerfully to restore what is broken. Bridging the gap between fallen humanity and a loving, holy God.
Just as God did to restore us from the ultimate sin that led to our separation from Him. We as Christians are called to act in such a way that we are restoring Biblical justice to a broken world. (Istock)
He didn’t stop feeling the love. That love moved him to violent action. This moved Him to sacrifice His Beloved Son to become Immanuel. God is with us It evokes Christmas. That’s what love is about. If love is real You must always take action. Just as God did to restore us from the ultimate sin that led to our separation from Him. We as Christians are called to act in such a way that we are restoring Biblical justice to a broken world.
That’s why we give gifts every Christmas. It is a concrete way to show those close to us that we love them.
The Christmas story makes it clear: love divides. overcome obstacles and make a difference
But if love stops with the person closest to us We are not truly living according to God’s love. Notice the object of God’s love in John 3:16: It is the world—a world that does not love God in return. It is a world that has done and will do everything possible to separate from God.
But God loves
You see, God’s love is intertwined with justice in the Bible. Love extends to everyone. Even people with whom we disagree and especially dislike. The Christmas Story makes it clear: love divides. overcome obstacles and make a difference Actively resist wrongdoing Protect the weak and build the foundation for reconciliation.

Each of us is called to have this kind of love this Christmas season. And there’s no better time to put it into practice. Because despite all the crazy shopping and consumerist messages, But the holiday season is also full of opportunities to show love to others.
So this year Seek opportunities to participate in service projects that make a difference in the lives of people in your community. Instead of spending more money on gifts for family and friends, find creative ways to wish those who can’t afford gifts this year. Get together and sing at a local nursing home.

But go and make a difference. Let’s go out and live a life of love that gives us reason to celebrate. This is what makes the Christmas season so special. I believe this brings us to this magical time of year. and the magic we felt as children
It’s not just about gifts, light and time spent with loved ones. Even if it’s a profoundly good thing. It is also an act of love and sacrifice. It is in small moments that we have the opportunity to truly be the hands and feet of Jesus to those around us by showing love through our actions.
