“Daniel is a great representative of our organization. First class in every way. His handling of this situation yesterday was exemplary. We are all disappointed with how things turned out. Jones, less than two years after signing a four-year, $160 million contract, has led the Giants to a 24-44-1 record in the regular season and a 1-1 record in the playoffs.
The Giants are now 2-9 on the season as they continue their pursuit of a No. 1 seed in 2025.
