The big question that people have been wondering about is finally answered.
With the upcoming Mythical Island booster pack in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, you may be wondering if you’ll be able to use Pack Points to instantly get the most coveted cards. Although that would be great. Especially if you only need one card to make your deck stand out. But it’s impossible.

The bad news is You will not be able to use already accumulated Pack Points to create cards from new packs. Pokemon TCG Pocket websitePoints can only be spent on cards that appear in the same expansion that they were earned on. Therefore, if you earn pack points by opening a booster from Genetic Apex, you can only spend those points on cards from Genetic Apex.
It looks like Legendary Island is giving us a new kind of pack points. This will allow us to craft cards from that pack if you weren’t lucky enough to get them from a booster. You will still be able to use Genetic Apex Pack Points to earn Genetic Apex cards, and will be available until Genetic Apex is completely removed from the store. There is currently no confirmed date.
