’90s stars and longtime friends Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar join in spreading holiday cheer this season.
Bure and McKellar kick off the winter holidays with the first Great American Family Christmas Festival at Northwell Park at USB Arena in New York. Bure becomes Great American Family Channel’s chief creative officer in 2022.
Bur, as fans call him The “Queen of Christmas Movies” has had her share of sweet holiday kisses on screen. She told Fox News Digital about her husband’s reaction when she starred in a romantic scene. And how does it affect their marriage?

“I don’t think it’s comfortable for anyone. Maybe if you are an actor who is married to another actor. It’s just never comfortable to see your spouse in someone’s arms. Even if it’s a peck or a kiss or whatever,” the “Full House” star shared.

However, the “Home Sweet Christmas” actress noted that her husband “Very supportive” and “proud” of all her projects
“We had a very honest conversation, and he was like, ‘I really don’t want to watch that part’ and ‘I don’t want to put you through that,’ but … we worked through those feelings to where we both felt. It was good and supported through it.”
“The Wonder Years” star chimed in and agreed that her husband “didn’t like it” when she acted in romantic scenes either. Both actresses said that they often “Fast Forward” or go to an ad when it pops up
“I don’t think it’s comfortable for anyone… It’s just never comforting to see your spouse in someone’s arms.”
McKellar has other ways of dealing with it.
“When that part of the movie happens I just kissed him,” she said, prompting laughter from Bure.
Bure tied the knot with former NHL player Valeri Bure in June 1996. The couple have three children: Natasha, Lev, and Maxim.
McKellar, who starred in Great American Family’s A Cinderella Christmas Ball, has a 14-year-old son, Draco, with ex-husband Mike Verta. She is currently married to lawyer Scott Sveslosky, with whom she has a son from a previous relationship. First, too.
The two famous friends have bonded over their faith since Bure first took McKellar to church. McKellar says her overall lifestyle has changed. As she mentioned an hour before her talk with Fox News Digital, she was listening. Her “Bible Summary”

“I don’t know how I ever lived before… I don’t know how I handle things,” McKellar noted. “There is a peace that surpasses understanding.”
“I have a stressful life… and having a relationship (With faith) is everything… I hope others will be happy… Part of what I’m so excited about with Great American Family is that it’s all about faith. Family and country…we can help people find that light.”
Bure also starred in “A Christmas Less Traveled” with Eric Johnson and “Let it Snow” with Jesse Hutch. She has been in the business of acting in Christmas movies for over a decade and said with Fox News Digital about her secrets for creating engaging holiday content.

“I love making these movies. I had no idea 15 years ago when I made my first film that this would be such a big genre for so many years,” she said.
“But I keep doing them because people love them. People feel grateful and it means something to them. Whether it’s a new tradition they’ve created for their own family Or because they saw some of our movies and they connected in some meaningful way.”
She added that she received positive feedback from her film “A Christmas Less Traveled” because her character discovered a recorded message from her late father on an old audio tape.
Fans have shown that “The film was very touching” and “helped” them “through the holidays,” while some viewers were able to relate the stories of their parents’ deaths.
“That’s why I keep doing it,” Bure said.

She also said McKellar has written for Great American Family Media and acted in films. McKellar stars in her 11th Christmas film. Many of her films were produced by Hallmark.
McKellar told Fox News Digital that she is “loyal” to Great American Media CEO Bill Abbott, who is the former CEO of Hallmark.
“I really give Bill credit for reviving my career… Made me a part of this genre of rom-coms and Christmas rom-coms (I am) very grateful to him. I will always be like that.”
As Great American Family hosts its first Christmas event, Bure details why the company decided to create this holiday experience.
“We have been dreaming about this for many years. And we wanted to create an environment where you could take the whole family and experience Christmas. It was like being in one of our movies,” Bure told Fox News Digital.

Coulier recently revealed that he was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She said they have remained close friends for many years. And she talked to him “Almost every day”
“He is one of my closest friends. He is my family… It’s terrible news,” she told Fox News Digital. “We’re all very hopeful… We are praying and doing everything we can to support… he”
Their “Full House” co-star Stamos has recently taken heat for his choice to take a stand on In “solidarity” with his good friend Coulier, the 61-year-old posted the photo on social media. He wore a bald cap along with Coulier. She had her head shaved before cancer treatment began.
Bure said she was “surprised” by those fans. Criticize photos
“I know humor and I know friendship… Dave wants to deal with his diagnosis with a sense of humor… John is one of his best friends. And that’s what they did together. And they laughed through it, but.. people handle things like that differently… I was surprised by the backlash. But I know all the intentions were really good.”
The Great American Family Christmas Festival is scheduled to run through December 1, 2019.
