Gonzales’ family said Local station KABC That her ex-boyfriend picked her up from her cheerleading job and took her home on Dec. 1, 20.

Around 10:00 PM that night, Azusa Police Department officers Gonzales was found with stab wounds. She was rushed to a local hospital. She was pronounced dead, police said.

The family claims one of them was able to track Gonzales’ cell phone to her ex-boyfriend’s house, according to KABC.

“When I got there There was crime scene tape and forensics and all that stuff, and I ran up to the officer like, ‘Hey, my daughter’s in there. You know, my daughter’s in there. I’m trying to find her. she’s not home And that’s when they told me Sit back for a moment,” Robert Caraballo, Angelina’s stepfather, told KABC.

Caraballo said he told his stepdaughter to stay away from her ex-boyfriend multiple times. But he also said that she has “Really big heart. and always see the good in him.”

According to a GoFundMe page set up by Letika Carabello, Gonzales’ mother. She will be turning 18 on January 1. 7.

Letica Carabello wrote, “She has a great future ahead of her. She has a heart of gold. You are my perfect, beautiful angel baby.” “I have no words to say. I can’t cope I want you Our family is very damaged. We appreciate all the support and love. Thank you all.”

Police have not identified the suspect. It said only that he was an 18-year-old acquaintance of the victim and a resident of Azusa.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News Digital that the suspect is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday.

Officials said the district attorney is also reviewing the case. And a decision on the filing will be made on Tuesday morning.
