A Columbia University professor who called Hamas’s Oct. 1, seventh attack on Israel “brilliant” will teach an upcoming Zionism course at an Ivy League school.
The class is led by Joseph Massad. will cover “The history of the Jewish Enlightenment (Haskala) in 19th century Europe and the development of Zionism through the current peace process between the State of Israel and the Arab States. and the Palestinian National Movement,” according to a description on Columbia’s website.

Columbia University and Massad did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment.

“Whereas Massad has the right to think what he thinks. and say what he believes Columbia also has a responsibility to teach impartially and fairly,” Rosenblatt wrote in a resignation letter obtained by Jerusalem Post “At best, perhaps anyone It was able to tolerate classes on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that were taught together from a variety of Israeli and Palestinian perspectives.
