A pair of interacting galaxies One galaxy is smaller than the other. It appears as a broad, bright light from which individual stars cannot be seen. A number of bright stars and smaller background galaxies can be seen. Three such galaxies lie in a vertical line below the galaxy to the right of the pair.

Day 20 of the Space Telescope Advent Calendar 2024: Galactic Chain This Hubble image includes an interacting galaxy system called Arp-Madore 2105-332, located about 200 million light years from Earth. The image also reveals several unrelated galaxies. with this system But it happens to be in a position where it appears to form a line approaching the leftmost element of Arp-Madore 2105-332.
