The Federal Aviation Administration has issued temporary flight restrictions prohibiting drone flights over various areas. of New Jersey This comes after an increase in sightings in recent weeks.
The announcement, which expires Jan. 1 on Sept. 17, 2025, specifies that drone operations in support of national defense homeland security Law enforcement, firefighting, search and rescue or disaster response mission are not included in such limitations.

The FBI official added: Investigators found no evidence of large-scale unmanned drone activity. Although it has increased recently.
“We are doing our best to find out the origins of those drone activities,” the official said. “But I think there was a bit of an overreaction.”
