Former Princeton football player Tiger Bech died in the New Orleans attack.

A violent attack in New Orleans on Wednesday resulted in the deaths of at least 10 people, and one of those victims was former Princeton football player Tiger Besh.

Beck, a native of New Orleans Played for Princeton from 2016-18 and was an All-Ivy League kick returner during his three-year career. He caught 53 passes for 825 yards with three touchdowns.

He graduated from university in 2021 and pursued a career in finance. He works as a stockbroker in New York City. but traveled home to Louisiana for the holidays.

Beck is also the older brother of current TCU wide receiver Jack Besh.

Jack shared news of his brother’s death on X with a tribute message.

“Love you always, brother! You inspire me every day, now you get to be with me every moment. I have this T family, don’t worry. This is for us,” a TCU player wrote.

The suspect who crashed his car into a crowd at a New Year’s celebration in New Orleans, Louisiana, killed at least 10 people and injured dozens more. The suspect has been identified as Shamsud Din Jabbar by the FBI.
