Gal Gadot discovered a “large blood clot” in her brain while eight months pregnant with her daughter.
The “Wonder Woman” star shared an emotional post on social media detailing the She described “profound challenges and deep reflection” of her year, along with photos taken in hospital shortly after her baby daughter was born.
Gadot, 39, has kept her fourth pregnancy with husband Yaron Varsano a secret. and announced she had given birth to a daughter in a post shared online in March.

“In February During the 8th month of pregnancy I was diagnosed with a large blood clot in my brain,” Gadot wrote. “I endured excruciating headaches that kept me bedridden for weeks. Until I finally had an MRI scan, which revealed the terrifying truth.

“In a period of time My family and I face a fragile life. It’s a reminder of how quickly everything can change. And in the midst of a difficult year All I want is to endure and keep living.”
She continued: “We rushed to the hospital. and within a few hours I also had emergency surgery. My daughter, Ori, was born during a time of uncertainty and fear. Her name, which means ‘My light’ was not chosen by chance. before surgery I told Jaron that when our daughter arrived You will be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel.”

Gadot thanked her medical team at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles for “A week of dedicated care”
“I got through this and started the road to recovery. Today, I am fully healed. And am grateful for the life I got back,” she wrote.

Gadot and Varsano married in 2008 and share daughters Alma, Maya and Daniella.
This isn’t the first time the actress has been able to keep quiet about her pregnancy. In 2017, Gadot told Marie Claire said she kept her second pregnancy a secret while filming “Wonder Woman” because she didn’t want to be treated any differently on set.

“I am devastated,” she told the magazine. “I started to dress with sunglasses on. I have a pitcher with a big piece of ginger in it. One producer asked: ‘Why did you drink that potato juice?’ They thought I had gone to Hollywood.”

In 2022, Gadot, who holds office in Israel Defense Forces when she was young– told InStyle that “shooting a movie while pregnant or when you have a baby” was the “worst” thing she’s done.
“I started when I was young,” she added. “When I was 25 when I was pregnant with Alma, I always wanted to be a young mother. That’s right, three kids. No joke, ladies. May God bless them. But there is a lot of work.”

Gadot explains, “I love giving birth. I do it once a week if I can, it’s amazing and I always take painkillers. To be fair So it’s not very painful. Just the moment you feel like you’re creating. Life is incredible.”
