Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Gunner Stockton was on the losing side in the team’s SEC Championship win over the Texas Longhorns on Saturday night.
Stockton was thrust into the game after Carson Beck’s injury. In overtime, with the Bulldogs trailing by three points, Stockton had his team on the Longhorns’ 12-yard line. He picked up a running defender up the middle of the field.

Stockton reached the first marker and encountered two Texas defenders. He was seriously injured and his helmet was seen falling off his head. He left the game after being hit hard. But it didn’t matter much.
in the next play The ball was passed to running back Trevor Etienne and he ran in for the game-winning touchdown.
Georgia won 22-19.
No. 1 OREGON held off brave Penn State’s attempt to win the Big Ten.
The second-year quarterback was 12-for-16 passing for 71 yards.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said Stockton did not suffer a concussion.
“No, I think he’s fine,” Smart said in passing. On 3 Sport– “He is prepared to come back into the game. We won the game by playing him out. So he is fine.”

Georgia will likely get a first-round bye in the college football playoffs. This means giving Beck another week to recover from the injury he sustained before half-time.
