During the opening moments of tonight’s Game Awards 2024, Harrison Ford appeared on stage to present the Outstanding Achievement Award alongside Troy Baker, who plays the role that Ford made famous in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle—and Todd Howard of Bethesda.
Before Ford walked out on stage to loud applause, Howard and Baker discussed how well Baker played Indy in the recently released Xbox and PC game.– But when Howard mentioned who played Indy first, a huge door opened on stage. And John Williams’ signature song began playing as Ford walked away to applause.
Here are the times below:
Ford apparently spoke “relaxed” during his surprise appearance at tonight’s Game Awards, chattering away and appearing to be under scrutiny. Which, hey, I get it.
“I thought the guy did a great job,” Ford said of Baker’s performance in the new game. “If I knew he was that good, I would have done it myself.”
After that, there was a slow pause. Because Ford doesn’t want to say exactly what’s in the transmitter. and signal the remote transmitter to the reward section. Everyone laughed silently and the three of them went to distribute them. Outstanding Performance Award
The winner of this award is not Troy Baker, but Melina Juergens for her outstanding performance as the main character in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II– That means she won it twice. And in the meantime, Troy Baker still hasn’t won, which is something Todd Howard joked during the segment. Don’t feel bad that Troy Harrison Ford liked your performance. And he has never won a single Game Award either. You live in a good society
