The House of Representatives heated up Thursday over the spending drama and what they saw as the outsized influence of Elon Musk and others in Trump’s orbit. after a bipartisan plan brokered by House Speaker Mike Johnson collapsed just hours earlier.

Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., referred to Billionaire X owner “President Musk” while speaking to reporters Thursday.
“For Republicans. For President Musk to step in at the last moment and sabotage the deal is intolerable,” Nadler said. “You have to negotiate. And you must be able to enforce what you are negotiating. And what is being negotiated is a very good deal for the American people.”

Musk’s team did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on his role in negotiations over the spending bill.
