Pritzker responded to Homan’s comments at a Northwest GOP rally that took place Monday evening, according to Fox 32 Chicago– in which he threatened to deport millions of undocumented immigrants; The move would affect tens of thousands of illegal immigrants in Chicago and Illinois.
“Undocumented violent criminals who have been convicted of violent crimes. They should be deported,” Pritzker said at an unrelated news conference. local station reports “I don’t want them in my state. I don’t think they should be in the United States.”
Homan said no one is off limits when it comes to deportation. While public safety threats are his priority, he directly addressed Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson in his remarks.

“If your mayor of Chicago doesn’t want to help, He can get away with it,” Homan said. “But if he blocks us, If he intentionally allows illegal aliens to live there I will prosecute him.”
Pritzker said he would welcome a meeting with Homan or the incoming Trump administration, according to FOX 32, but no one has contacted him.
