This country star has decided to give up technology. and sealed the deal by throwing the phone into the river.

Jelly Roll made these comments after he asked his driver to take him to the Cumberland River.
“I got to the point where I was getting hundreds of messages a day. And I was so touched,” he explains, “and when I finally sat down to walk past them I feel like a bad human being even thinking about them… I feel a lot of guilt This phone makes me feel so guilty.”
“This may not be the healthiest way to go. But I can confidently tell people that I will not have a phone at all (in 2025).”
The “Son of a Sinner” singer previously said during an interview that if his “Beautifully Broken Tour” goes well, He vowed to throw his mobile device off the Shelby Street Bridge.

During the podcast, Jelly Roll’s wife said this isn’t the first time the musician has taken out his phone. She added that people would contact her to try and connect with the jelly rolls.
JELLY ROLL lost over 100 pounds while fighting a battle with food addiction.
“I have had the same number for almost a decade. My husband has about 17,” she said.
Jelly Roll explains, “I’ll probably miss a message and know there’s too much of it out there and it’s too stressful to look at it, so I’ll avoid it by accidentally scrolling or… I get these news notifications on my phone and then we become big news all the time,” he added. “I’m starting to get addicted to this.”

Jelly Roll’s plan is to use flip phones by 2025, as he believes. “It’s healthy for me. I will use my phone as a (isolation) method as well.”
The Nashville, Tennessee, native says his phone hasn’t helped him become the person he wants to be.

“I want to be a better husband. I want to be a better father. I want to be a better human being. I want to be a better artist.”
On November 27, Bunnie shared a video of him FaceTimed her before hoisting his phone across a bridge.
“You know how I throw my phone away all the time…Mom, I love you, baby, I love you,” he said over the phone.
“I’m a little drunk. I look forward to spending the next few months with you all. Without outside intervention… darling”
During his podcast, Jelly Roll, born Jason Bradley, DeFord added that he won’t let his weight dictate the amount of success he will have in the future.
“I did this publicly for a reason,” he told his wife. “I want to be honest. It’s about having to fight people. I have been wearing it for a long time.”

“I think people as big as me, when they lose weight, They were quite ashamed,” explained the “Save Me” singer, who lost 100 pounds.
“They were so ashamed that they hid and lost weight. And then they came back… They don’t know how to interact with the world. look different Or feel different, you know? And they are kind. We have to find a whole new way.”
On his horizon, Jelly Roll has set a new goal for himself: becoming a cover model. “I want to be on the cover of ‘Men’s Health’ by March 2026,” he told his wife, who shared his excitement. “That is my new goal. So I wanted to make one of the biggest changes.”
