Jeremy Renner honors the men and women who saved his life on the second anniversary of his near-fatal snowplow accident.
On Jan. 1, Renner took to Instagram to share a photo of himself from two years ago. Sitting on a hospital bed surrounded by medical staff.
“Happy New Year Blessings to all of you…. rang out on my second ‘new birthday’ today,” his emotional caption began. “I send my love, respect and gratitude to the People’s Army for bringing me back together. Thank you to all the nurses, doctors, first responders… I truly owe my life to you.

“My heart goes out to my beautiful and brave grandson. and the angels (My neighbor) who jumped to my rescue and endured 45 minutes of chaos on the cool asphalt on New Year’s morning. I’m truly sorry for the haunting images that haunted me. engraved on all of you (I will spare you all from the meat grinding pictures)….”

On January 1, 2023, Renner was airlifted to a hospital after he recovered. Run over by his own Sno-Cat. while trying to tow a vehicle that was stuck in the snow near his home in the Sierra Nevada mountains. He broke more than 30 bones and received treatment for a chest injury and orthopedic injuries.
“My gratitude list is long…. With love and prayers pouring in from you around the world. (All items required) My family has never abandoned me. With divine intervention With a little bit of luck and a lot of miracles… I stood strong again,” Renner’s description continued.

Bodycam footage shows what happened during Renner’s. Traumatic Snowplow Accident near his home in Lake Tahoe, California, where he was “crushed” by his 14,000-pound PistenBully Sno-Cat.
Washoe County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the accident. It was reported by a neighbor shortly before 9:00 a.m. Renner tried to help. his nephew, Alex Fries; Move a truck stuck in the snow. Rainer got out of his snowplow to check on his grandson. But it still keeps moving. He jumped back to stop the snowplow but got stuck on the tread.

After Renner was sent to the hospital. I heard the medical staff say: “I’ve never seen anything like this before.”
“What a disaster,” Renner told Men’s Health about his recovery. “Taking a shower, going to the bathroom. Everything was a disaster.”
“They give you medicine. So you don’t go to the bathroom. So you’re constipated. And you pee in a plastic jar. It’s terrible. When you know things aren’t going so well, you’re peeing in a plastic jar. It took me 17 minutes to get out of bed.”
