Country star Jessie James Decker’s new cookbook, “Just Eat: More Than 100 Easy and Delicious Recipes That Taste Just Like Home,” is filled with recipes she’s cooked in her own kitchen, she told Fox News Digital.
The Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and television host spoke with Fox News Digital from her clothing store, Kittyish.
“I’m just a foodie,” Decker said.

It was important that her new cookbook focused on the food her family actually ate. said the wife of former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker and mother of four.
“I can cook all types of food,” she said, noting that her family’s tastes are not limited to one style of cooking.
“Just Eat” features recipes that are “delicious, comfortable, friendly and really family-friendly,” she said.
“These are all things I make in the kitchen. There isn’t a recipe I don’t make in the kitchen.”

Decker said she wanted the cookbook to be “authentic” for her family.
Her favorite recipe in the book is baked chicken thighs, which she “threw together at the last minute” in a large pot on her stove.
“We came back from a family vacation. And I keep thinking ‘I just want chicken, rice and vegetables, that’s all I need,’ Decker said.

After a quick trip to the grocery store She came back with chicken thighs, “all these vegetables and potatoes and rice,” and “like started throwing things together.”
“It has become one of my favorite recipes,” she said.
