Comedian Jon Stewart questioned how Democrats walk the “tightrope” when they agree with the other side on some issues. Speaking during Friday’s show, there was a backlash when they agreed with RFK Jr. on some issues.
“How do you walk that tightrope? Because what I found was that there was a gag reflex. And I think both sides have that reaction. Robert’s reaction Kennedy says ultra-processed food is killing Americans. And I was like, ‘Yes, God is terrible. That has to change,” Stewart said during an interview with Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT.
Stewart talked with Sanders during “Weekly program” Meanwhile, the progressive senator said he wants to work with Republicans when they say “What is good and appropriate”
“But if you say so, boy, you’re just an angry bitch. How can you agree with Robert Kennedy Jr. on anything? He was like, Elon Musk said there’s waste and inefficiency in our government, and we’re like, ‘Yes, we’ve been screaming about that for years.’ And as soon as we did that, ‘How dare you?’ It was really interesting.”

Sanders said he is considering labels on food products.
“Do you know what I’m going to hear about tomorrow? To demand it be known, why hasn’t the FDA commissioner at least moved forward with strong labels to warn Americans about the nature of their foods? Eating which leads to obesity which leads to diabetes. We are extremely irresponsible,” Sanders said. “Kennedy was right about that.”
Sanders said he disagrees with RFK Jr.’s proposal to remove fluoride from drinking water.
“You’re saying How do you walk that line? That’s what we’re trying to figure out right now,” Sanders said.

And this is Munjaro, and now we’re stuck in this banana cycle. at these companies It is simply profiting from our incredibly poor health outcomes,” Stewart said.

“The government has taken no action whatsoever. Is it necessary in an urgent manner? Of course, that hasn’t been done, so Kennedy was right on that point. But your point is how do we deal with that – plus the crazy stuff? What he said was exactly correct. I’m trying to figure out what,” Sanders said.
