Denim Richards, whose character Colby was recently killed off in the series has recalled his first memory of seeing Costner when the cast gathered for a table read.
“Everyone got together and[Kevin Costner]walked in and he had this huge presence. But very humble,” Richards said. The New York Post
“Everyone got ready to get up from the table and go outside. (Costner) said, ‘I don’t know about you guys. But I’m scared to death So why don’t we all come together to be the best we can be? can and make this happen and support each other.'”

Richards said after Costner’s remarks, “You could feel the tension leave the room. It is a beautiful thing.”
He continued: “This is an Oscar-winning legend… Whether he was truly afraid or not, who knows, but it gave everyone extra confidence that there was no hierarchy.”
“You could feel the stress leave the room. It is a beautiful thing.”
Costner starred in the first five seasons of “Yellowstone” as John Dutton, a Montana rancher. It is run by his family, Kaycee (Luke Grimes), Jamie (Wes Bentley), Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Beth’s husband, Rip (Cole Howser).

Richards said Costner’s confession helped “take the stress out of the room.” (Paramount+)

At the beginning of the second half of this season Costner’s character was killed off. The Oscar winner left the series before the episode aired after scheduling and contractual issues. Part of his film series “Horizon: An American Saga”
The current season was originally scheduled to be the final season of the series. But a spin-off is reportedly in the works featuring Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton and her husband Rip Wheeler.
Hauser recently shared his own thoughts on the show as well. People Magazine Before the finals tonight

“It has been an incredible experience over the last few weeks of seeing people out and about. Their perception of the show and the characters and what it means to them,” he told the outlet.
He kept away any details about the spin-off or its overall future. “Yellowstone” quietly, but said “We’ll see what happens next year or so. And we’ll see what happens next. Hopefully we can carry on. in people’s living rooms and entertaining them the way we have for the past seven years.”

“I think America has spoken. They still love the show. There are apparently a lot of people who gather with their families every Sunday. And we’re going to take them out of their living rooms and take them to Montana. and entertain them,” Hauser said. “And I think in the end it was that simple.”
