Kevin Owens hits Cody Rhodes with a Chelsea Green pile driver, making history in Saturday Night’s main event.


Cody Rhodes retained his undisputed WWE Championship with a victory over Kevin Owens at Saturday Night’s Main Event in New York, but the fireworks really began. After the competition is over

As Owens made his way to the gorilla position, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque confronted Owens. Levesque shoved Owens as the two stared at each other. WWE security had to separate the two while Levesque went to check on Rhodes.

This was the second time Owens used the pile driver package on a SmackDown superstar. He used it on Randy Orton, which caused Orton to get down and out. and even carried it out of the stadium on a stretcher.

It’s unclear what the future holds for both Owens and Rhodes afterward.
